WONDERFUL PRIZE FROM YARN4SOCKS!

It sure takes me awhile to get back here!! I wanted to share what I received for participating in Yarn4Socks KAL. I was so overwelmed by the wonderful gift just for finishing in the time specified! I hope this will encourage others to participate in their up coming KALs! The yarns are great! One hank of Sleeping Dragon and one, the pretty blue, by A Piece of Vermont. A gorgeous sock pattern and a bag for holding my projects and stitch markers also. It was like Christmas!  I want to get started on a pair of socks soon using one of these wonderful yarns and this pattern.

I am working on a very pretty shrug right now and hope to finish up this week end. It is done using Boomarang by Fiesta Yarns. I love this yarn because of the twist and body it has. Not much more to go so will hopefully have a picture soon.

FINISHED KAL SWEATER

Yeah! I finished my KAL sweater well with in the time limit. Working with the Soya/Cotton yarn was wonderful and it feels wonderful to wear also. I won an absolutely GREAT prize from www.yarn4socks.com who sponsered this knit along. I will have pictures of that tomorrow. It was like Christmas!!

 

 

SULIME SOYA COTTON YARN

I AM STEADILY WORKING ON THE KAL WITH YARN4SOCKS. I MUST SAY THIS YARN IS WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. IT IS SO SOFT AND PLEASANT AGAINST THE SKIN. I HAVE TO MAKE SOMETHING ELSE USING THIS YARN. I HOPE TO HAVE PHOTOES UP TOMORROW. THANKS.

I am not sure I am figureing this blogging out but at least today I finally got a photo posted. I will post an up dated picture tomorrow. I have lots of help while knitting and this is one of the supervisors.

Here is a photo of my yarn and pattern for the knit along. The yarn is Sublime Soya and Cotton in cinnamon and the pattern is a summer Tee from “Simple Knits. nO YOU ARE NOT SEEING DOUBLE i JUST HAVE TO WORK IT ALL OUT.
